Today Deb continues her series on “Encounters with Jesus in John” with part one of Chapter 11. In verses 1-16, Jesus says nothing to Thomas’ cry of allegiance and courage to die with Him. He knows that His disciples will fail Him. But success will follow failure. The Disciples will suffer and die for the Gospel. We, Christ’s Church, are built on their sacrifice. They are our Foundational Stones which are stained with the blood of Jesus, the Prophets, and the Apostles (Eph. 2:20-22)
